His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Chairman of the Committee of Governors of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, attended a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in commemorating His Royal Highness’ 41st birthday.
The ceremony, organised by Yayasan, was held at the An-Naura Hall of the Yayasan Complex yesterday.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof as members of the Yayasan Committee of Governors.
Also greeting His Royal Highness were Minister at Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land Use and Environment) at the Ministry of Development Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak as Yayasan Acting Managing Director.
His Royal Highness also cut a birthday cake and received a pesambah from Yayasan.
Born on June 30, 1983, His Royal Highness was appointed as the Chairman of the Committee of Governors of Yayasan on March 1, 2013. – Lyna Mohamad
