Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) hosted a dinner reception to welcome keynote speakers and the foreign delegation attending the International Conference of Islamic Universities (ICIU) 2023 at Tarindak D’Seni in the capital on Monday.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan was the guest of honour.
The ceremony also saw the presentation of prizes and certificates for the best posters and paperwork of the ICIU 2023.
Master by Research student from Faculty of Usuluddin Nurbazilah Sakynah binti Tahir was named the best poster winner with the topic ‘Peranan neurosains dalam peningkatan teknik hafazan Al-Quran’ (The role of neuroscience in enhancing Al-Quran memorisation technique).
Students from Islamic International University, Malaysia, Nurul Ain binti Mohd Rosli, Norazilawati Md Dahlal, Hamazah Mohd Salleh and Anis Najiha Ahmad won the best paperwork titled The Impact of Islamic Value Based Productivity in Islamic Higher Educational Institution. – Rokiah Mahmud
