The Al-Ikhlas team triumphed in the men’s category while the An-Nara team won the women’s category in the Dikir Syarafil Anam competition yesterday.
The event, held to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE) Brunei-Muara District saw nine teams competing. PKWE Brunei-Muara District former manager Haji Hambali bin Tengah, the guest of honour, presented the prizes.
Village Head of RPN Kampong Lambak Kanan (Zone 2) Haji Omar bin Haji Sapar, Chairperson of the PKWE Brunei-Muara Haji Mohd Yussof bin Mohd Salleh and Advisor of the PKWE Brunei-Muara Haji Mohamad bin Haji Mohd Yaasin and its members also participated. – Azlan Othman & Lyna Mohamad
