    Digital marketing for MSMEs under the spotlight

    Baiduri Bank, in collaboration with Darussalam Enterprise’s (DARe) Industry Business Academy, held Baiduri SME Empowerment Series workshop at iCentre in Anggerek Desa yesterday.

    The workshop, titled ‘Developing A Digital Marketing Strategy for MSMEs’, was conducted by Click Academy Asia, an established training agency from Singapore specialising in digital marketing.

    The course was attended by over 20 local businesses and was specially tailored to help micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) wishing to expand their businesses and convert more customers to digital marketing tools, such as search engines, social networking sites, conversational apps, and email marketing among other platforms. The workshop also provided tools that MSMEs can readily apply in their businesses.

    The partnership between Baiduri Bank and DARe is an annual initiative aimed at implementing a series of skills-training workshops several times a year designed to complement existing training programmes offered by DARe’s Industry Business Academy (IBA), thereby providing a more comprehensive, well-rounded training curriculum to local entrepreneurs, empowering them to achieve greater success in their business ventures.

    CEO of Baiduri Bank Ti Eng Hui said, “Through the SME Empowerment Series, we hope to continue to support the growth and development of MSMEs by empowering them through education.

    “These workshops provide the opportunity for local entrepreneurs to better their skills in key areas of managing and setting their businesses up for sustainable growth.

    “It is hoped that the knowledge acquired will encourage them to be more agile in today’s fast-changing economy and help them make the right business decisions.”
