The Ministry of Health (MoH) held a dialogue session with 15 Legislative Council (LegCo) members yesterday at the MoH’s Al-’Afiah Hall.
The session, which saw the sharing of ideas, information, issues and suggestions in a friendly and open atmosphere, aimed to enhance the quality of healthcare services for the benefit of the people in the Sultanate.
The delegation, led by Yang Berhormat Haji Daud bin Jihan, also visited several facilities under the ministry, including the Berakas Health Centre and the Department of Scientific Services.
The dialogue session began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, led by Haji Mohd Emmarul bin Haji Azamain of the Religious Services Unit of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin chaired the event.
Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the MoH Dr Hajah Lailawati binti Haji Jumat, as well as department heads and senior officials were also present. – James Kon
