Premier Dental and Orthodontic Centre (PDOC) recorded another milestone with the opening of their third branch at The One, Batu Satu. The dental centre offers a full range of general dental and specialised orthodontic services.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini bin Pengiran Dr Haji Mohd Yakub, heads of missions to Brunei Darussalam, including Ambassador of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam Boosara Kanchanalai, United States Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn McClelland, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona and Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Brunei Darussalam Abel Guterres attended the opening ceremony.
Premier Dental Group Managing Director Dato Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Ibrahim said the new dental centre, which is their third branch, complements the dental services of the Ministry of Health (MoH).
“The new centre provides the community with an additional option to seek dental services, which are readily available and accessible,” he said. He added that the group has a vision to provide patients with the highest quality of dental care in a professional and safe environment.
Meanwhile, the Group’s Practise Manager Dr Murali Rao said the clinic was designed to incorporate the regulatory requirements, especially with reference to infection control standards and radiation safety.
He added that PDOC is the first private dental facility to have achieved full status accreditation by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH). “The centre can be easily accessed by wheelchair-bound patients,” he said.
Lead dentist Dr Sumaya Rao highlighted that in addition to the full range of general dental services, orthodontic services are also available. – Rokiah Mahmud
