It is important for Muslims to incorporate the practice of Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) sunnah in their daily lives, and only through practice can Muslims’ love for the Prophet deepen.

This was said by Ra’es of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar at a Dikir Syarafil Anam during the Habibi Ya Rasulullah Programme yesterday.

He also called on Muslims to learn, understand and appreciate the dikir and zikir they recite.

Other activities under the programme included a Tazkirah competition, poster making competition, Musabaqah Al-Quran competition, forum and mini bazaar, organised by the Students’ Representative Council in collaboration with the Student Affairs Section of KUPU SB.

Winners of the Dikir Syarafil Anam competition went to Year 1 students of the Higher National Diploma in Religious Teaching programme who received prizes in a ceremony that also saw winners in other competitions awarded.

Muhammad Hadif Fahmi bin Haji Awang Jamain won the poster making competition; Norafifah binti Haji Latif took the top spot in the Tazkirah competition; and Muhammad Nur Razin bin Rosli emerged as the winner of the Musabaqah Al-Quran competition.

The Habibi Ya Rasulullah Programme encouraged the expression of love towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), while forging closer ties and healthy competition among KUPU SB members. – Rokiah Mahmud
