SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Stray Kids are set to thrill fans with a remix of their new song for the original soundtrack of the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” announced their label, JYP Entertainment, on Monday.
The octet will release “Slash” on Wednesday, a track that will feature in the original soundtrack for the blockbuster action comedy, ahead of the film’s premiere the following day.
Notably, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made appearances in the band’s music video for “Chk Chk Boom,” the focus track from their ninth EP, “Ate.”
A remix digital single for “Chk Chk Boom” is slated for release on Tuesday, offering three different versions of the original song.
The EP, which was released on Friday, sold over 1.65 million units on its first day, continuing the success of their previous four albums.
The lead track also topped iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 24 regions and debuted at No 25 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart.
