Damai Team was crowned as the champion of the friendly badminton tournament organised by Kumpulan Inisiatif Sentiasa Aktif.
They received a cash prize of BND150 along with a gold medal and a goodie bag while Harmoni team took the second spot and received BND100 cash prize and a silver medal.
In third place, Aman Team won BND70 and a bronze medal while Mesra team won the consolation prize. The tournament held at Fuzhou Shiyyi Association Hall in Kampong Lambak Kanan saw nine teams competing including Damai, Harmoni, Aman, Mesra, Gembira, Suasana, Riang, Sentosa and Ramah teams.
Secretary of the tournament Mohammad Shalihudin bin Haji Hisham said the tournament aims to support the desire towards healthy citizens and was opened to officers and staff at the Foreign Worker Health Screening Centre in Berakas. – Lyna Mohamad
