Two riders of the local SUCI-AMIGOS Brunei cycling team managed to grab podium finishes at the DBKU Criterium Race 3.0 and Road Race 2.0 cycling competition in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia last weekend.
In the DBKU Criterium Race 3.0, SUCI-AMIGOS cyclist Michael Thomas Walton claimed second with 36:33:593 in the veteran category.
Mohd Razif bin Mohd Salleh from Tugau Vaie cycling team was crowned the champion with 35:20:304, while Azizulazli bin Shaari of Isport Kasawari Motors Racing team was placed third with 36:47:651.
Meanwhile, SUCI-AMIGOS cyclist Robert Meek won third place in the Road Race 2.0 veteran master ‘B’ category with 2:35:45:519.
First place went to Seiji Mohammad of team Pro Apparel Sarawak with 2:23:15:376, followed by Sopian Nor from the same team in second place with 2:35:45:519.
The competition was organised by Kuching North City Hall in collaboration with the Sarawak Cycling Association. – James Kon
