Members of Santai-Santai Riders (SSR) in the Tutong District on Monday organised a 42.4-kilometre bike ride in conjunction with the 77th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The cyclists led by SSR team leader Haji Mohammed bin Haji Md Zanai rode from Pekan Tutong to Kampong Danau and back.
Haji Mohammed said the activity aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and to encourage members to hold such activities during public holidays and weekends. – Rokiah Mahmud
