    Cyclists embark on 1,200km charity ride for Gaza

    Local cyclists Amiruddin bin Haji Md Amir and Pengiran Md Khairuddin bin Pengiran Bakar embarked on a 1,200-kilometre charity cycling journey from Brunei Darussalam to Kuching, Malaysia, and back, in support of Gaza.

    The cyclists gathered at the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association parking lot to mark the start of their journey.

    The duo reached Miri yesterday and proceeded to Bekenu. Today, they are scheduled to arrive in Bintulu. Their route will continue through Sibu and Betong before reaching Kuching.

    For the return leg, the cyclists will be transported by car to Miri, from where they will cycle back to Brunei.

    The initiative is supported by Cycle Life, Nimanja, Wafa Hotel, Brunei Darussalam Cycling Federation, and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. – James Kon
