His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office boarded a P-8 aircraft from the United States (US) Navy yesterday.
His Royal Highness was greeted on arrival at Air Movement Centre, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Base in Rimba by Commander of the RBAirF Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim.
Accompanying His Royal Highness onboard the flight were US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn R McClelland, Joint Force Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin and Acting Deputy Commander of the RBAirF Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin.
His Royal Highness viewed Brunei Darussalam’s exclusive economic zone during the flight.
The P-8 aircraft was part of the static display exhibit during the 62nd anniversary of the RBAF on May 31. The flight signified the strong bilateral cooperation between the Sultanate and the US.
