His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadeee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office graced the Brunei ICT Awards (BICTA) 2024 ceremony held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas on Wednesday.
On arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha.
Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) was announced as the Royal Patron Award with their project eZakat. It also won the Technology Category and Merit Award in the Inclusion and Community Service Category.
The Smart Nation Award was meanwhile won by Technology Centre (Ed Tech), Ministry of Education with SUMBER, Digital Resource Management System (DRMS) in Education Category, and Techbru Solution (B) Sdn Bhd with AssetTrack+ in the Logistic and Transportation category.
His Royal Highness also presented prizes to the Royal Patron Award and Smart Nation winners as well winners and merit winners in the other categories of BICTA Award 2024.
Before departure, His Royal Highness toured the BICTA 20 Years gallery and an exhibition of winners of BICTA 2024. – LYNA MOHAMAD
