The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has confirmed receiving a report of a suspected crocodile attack in the Damuan River area of Jalan Mulaut, Kampong Bebatik.
The Sengkurong Police Station received the report at around 5:14 pm yesterday.
According to preliminary investigations, the victim is believed to be a male foreigner. The RBPF, along with the Fire and Rescue Department, is currently investigating the incident to determine the cause.
The police have appealed to eyewitnesses and members of the public to come forward to any nearby police station to assist in the investigation.
Additionally, the RBPF reminds the public to take necessary precautions, particularly when engaging in fishing activities in water or river areas, to prevent any unwanted incidents.
