Creating a harmonious family through educational approach

The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) through the Fiqh Al-Usrah Research Centre in collaboration with various ministries organised a Jaulah Fiqh Al-Usrah programme yesterday.

The programme served as a platform to share and explain the knowledge of parenthood and family education within the context of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) and a Zikir nation as well as highlight roles of individuals in family education, family laws, and challenges in the information technology era.

The theme was ‘The Educational Approach of the Family of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) towards Creating a Harmonious Family for a Prosperous Nation’.

The event was held at Setia Pahlawan Hall in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) and at Information Department’s Auditorium in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC).

The topics covered included the formation of happy families, responsibilities of a husband and the wife in the family, issues and conflicts in households and the supplications and practices for a happy family.

The topics were delivered by Director of Fiqh Al-Usrah Research Centre Dr Haji Sham bin Haji Amin and Dean of Faculty of Social Science Education Associate Professor Dr Mohd Shahril bin Ahmad Razimi.

The programme will continue until November 25 at various ministries, conducted by academic professionals from KUPU SB. – Rokiah Mahmud
