COVID recoveries surpass 232,000 mark

The accumulated recoveries in COVID-19 cases in Brunei surpassed the 232,000 mark at 232,371, including 387 recovered cases yesterday.

Six cases remained in Category 4, requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring, while there are no cases in Category 5 requiring treatment in the intensive care unit. Additionally, there are no COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

This was stated in the latest update on the COVID-19 situation in the country, shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.

Administration of the fourth dose of vaccination remains at 10.7 per cent while 78.6 per cent of the population have received the third doses.

Some 86.1 per cent of children aged five to 11 have been administered two doses of the COVID -19 vaccine while 61.6 per cent of adolescents between the age 12 and 17 have received three shots.
