Contract awardee brings global expertise locally

Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) has awarded Serikandi Kent Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd a five-year contract to provide Commissioning and Start-Up Services.

Serikandi Kent Energy Solutions, is a Bruneian incorporated joint-venture between Kent Plc headquartered in Dubai and Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd, Brunei Darussalam.

The joint venture aims to provide integrated services to Energy Industry clients in Brunei Darussalam in multiple areas around rejuvenation, asset integrity, major Greenfield and brownfield projects.

The award marks the first win for the joint venture that combines Kent’s global expertise with Serikandi’s 50 years of execution capability in the Sultanate.

“We are excited to collaborate with Serikandi to bring our world-class commissioning service to BSP; this award is a testament to our continued progress. Our partnership will ensure that we can bring top-tier global commissioning experience right here in Brunei Darussalam and build up local resources at the same time,” said Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific Joe McCormick at Kent.
