The Mukim Kota Batu Consultative Council (MPM) held a meeting yesterday, led by Penghulu of Mukim Kota Batu Rasli bin Taram, where the council members discussed community programmes to strengthen friendship within the mukim and plans for a Semukim Sports Fiesta at the end of the year.
The council also reviewed a proposal to recognise outstanding Primary School Assessment (PSR) students from Mukim Kota Batu through an award ceremony.
The meeting, at Pintu Malim Primary School, was also attended by Village Head of Kampong Sungai Besar, Kampong Serdang and Kampong Sungai Belukut Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Haji Zaini bin Haji Damit, in his capacity as the Secretary II of MPM Kota Batu. – Lyna Mohamad
