First, I want to commend the Ministry of Health for the BruHealth upgrade. The new features are especially helpful, particularly when scheduling outpatient appointments.
However, I’d like to suggest adding immediate access to the latest blood and urine test results for patients. Recently, I had an episode where a sudden rash appeared all over my body, requiring a trip to the emergency department at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
The doctor and nurses were very helpful, and the process was smooth.
Blood and urine samples were taken, and after a few hours, I was informed that everything was normal, with the rash resulting from a harmless allergic reaction. Curious to see my blood results, I logged into BruHealth, only to find the most recent available data was from a visit in June 2024.
It would be incredibly useful if we, as patients, could access our latest test results. While I understand that certain information may be sensitive and typically viewed by medical professionals, it raises questions about why previous results are accessible but not the latest ones.
Having access to these results would help patients monitor their health and see if there’s anything out of the ordinary.
