The Ministry of Religious Affairs‘ (MoRA) Munajat night continued on Saturday for the 61st week at RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque in Belait District with the participants of students from Jefri Bolkiah Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Campus and youths from STKRJ Lambak Kiri Mosque.
Congregants from 105 mosques, suraus and religious halls and workforce as well as family members of the Ministry of Religious Affairs also participated in the gathering.
The adviser of the RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque Takmir commitee Dato Paduka Haji Jamain bin Haji Julaihi began the religious gathering with the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
Meanwhile, the recitation of Surah Yaasiin was led by a student of IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus Abdul Azmi Rajae bin Haji Abdul Aziz and joined by his colleagues from Zainab Mosque in Lumut.
Doa Munajat was read by the Senior Religious Officer at Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman from Mushalla Al-Ameen.
In the religious talk entitled ‘Al-Muraqabah’ Mosque Affairs Officer at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kiarong, Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhuddin reminded Muslims that their attitude is under scrutiny and monitored by Allah the Almighty.
“In other words, nothing is left without being scrutinised and Muraqabah is a feeling that we are under supervision by Allah the Almighty that leads us to perform good deeds, loyal and the fear to commit wrongdoings.”
He added that Muraqabah should be with every individual whereby when someone establishes such a feeling, it will bring the pleasure of performing pious acts for Allah the Almighty.
The weekly religious activity continued with Asmaa Ul-Husna led by Imam of STKRJ Lambak Kiri Mosque Mohd Wafiuddin bin Mohd Wajeh.
Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was read by RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque Abdul Affair Officer Qayyuum bin Haji Aminnuddin.
