On this auspicious occasion of the 38th National Day of Brunei Darussalam, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy and in my own name, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty as well as the people of Brunei Darussalam.
Under the leadership of His Majesty, Brunei features political stability, social harmony and economic development. Its vaccination rate is among the highest in the world.
As the ASEAN rotating chair last year, Brunei actively promoted the building of the ASEAN community and the development of China-ASEAN relations. Brunei also plays a constructive role in international and regional affairs.
Relations between China and Brunei have steadily developed. The year 2021 marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brunei and the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN.
At the time of global COVID-19 vaccine shortage, China led a vaccine donation to Brunei and provided technical support, enhancing Brunei’s prevention and control capacity.
I am confident that with the joint efforts of the two governments and with the support of the two peoples, China-Brunei relations will surely become better and better. May His Majesty enjoy good health. May Brunei Darussalam enjoy greater prosperity and its people happiness and well-being.

On behalf of the government and people of Iran and my own name, I am pleased to extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty, the royal family as well as the Government and people of Brunei Darussalam on the auspicious occasion of the 38th anniversary of the National Day of Brunei Darussalam.
Under the wise leadership of His Majesty, Brunei Darussalam has enjoyed peace, stability and prosperity especially in the hard situation of COVID-19 global pandemic.
Brunei Darussalam as the chairmanship of ASEAN 2021 played a constructive role in regional and international affairs.
Twenty-eight years since the beginning of the diplomatic relations between the two countries of Iran and Brunei Darussalam, and during this time, both countries have benefitted from a bilateral and multilateral relations in the area of regional and international cooperation.
We believe that, in the years to come, the bilateral cooperation between our two brotherly countries will be more fruitful and the friendship between our people will be stronger. Insya Allah.

We are, therefore, looking forward to seeing Brunei prosper further and achieve even greater levels of success on all fronts, under the astute leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Brunei Darussalam is truly an exemplary nation with its people, enjoying the ambience of total peace and happiness under the wise and gracious leadership of His Majesty. Brunei Darussalam is like a sparkling diamond in Southeast Asia that embodies its namesake ‘The Abode of Peace’.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Timor-Leste and Brunei Darussalam. Both countries enjoy excellent bilateral relations, mutual cooperation and friendship between the leaders as well as at the people-to-people level.
Brunei Darussalam is well-developed on many levels, particularly in its governance and socio-economic trajectory. Timor-Leste looks forward to learning from Brunei Darussalam’s experiences to further strengthen our bilateral relations and mutual cooperation towards a better future.
We pray for the continued good health and longevity of His Majesty and the peace and prosperity of Brunei Darussalam.
