Repair work on the Kampung Pudak village bridge, which recently collapsed due to strong winds, was carried out on Monday with the generous support of Cityneon Displays and Construction Sdn Bhd as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa Selamat, after which villagers and other participants began the bridge repairs. Present at the occasion was Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri as the guest of honour.
Once the repairs were completed, an appreciation ceremony took place at the residence of Acting Village Head Awang Shahri bin Haji Durahim. The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Awang Shahri, followed by the presentation of a gift and appreciation certificate to Cityneon’s Managing Director, Dato Ting Jack Chai. – LYNA MOHAMMAD
