The Office for Wawasan Brunei 2035 Director Dr Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Haji Hurairah elaborated that Brunei Vision 2035 is a long-term future vision launched in 2008 to turn the country into a nation widely recognised for its educated, highly skilled and accomplished people, a dynamic, sustainable economy and a high quality of life for all its citizens.
To achieve the vision, the Brunei Vision 2035 Framework identifies 12 national outcomes also supported by the three blueprints: manpower, social and economic.
She said this during a seminar held by PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd (PASB) on the Wawasan Brunei 2035 Report (2015-2022).
“The people of Brunei Darussalam are the main drivers in realising Brunei Vision 2035 where the country’s success depends on the full commitment and continuous cooperation from all individuals.
“Hence, it is crucial to maintain the momentum through a whole-of-nation approach in realising the national vision,” she said.
The presentation provided a brief overview of the recently released Brunei Vision 2035 Report (2015-2022), highlighting key achievements and progress.
