The Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) issued a BND1,000 compound to a company for violating Regulation 12, Building Control (Advertising, Billboards and Signboards) Regulations.
The company was issued the compound for displaying advertisements/billboards without permission.
The company is required to pay the compound fine within 14 days from the date issued.
ABCi reminds companies registered under the Ministry of Development to obtain prior permission before displaying advertisements, billboards and business signboards.
The public is reminded to comply with the acts and regulations.
