A company in Mukim Berakas was fined BND250 for violating the Town and Country Planning (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2018 for placing, using, obstructing and displaying items on the sidewalk space of a business premise.
Planning Authority officers from the Department of Town and Country Planning, Ministry of Development, recently issued the fine during Operasi Opkemas.
The company has been given seven days to settle the fine.
The Planning Authority also reminded the public, business owners and enterprises to comply with planning laws by obtaining permission for development and land use.
