A local company was issued with a compound fine totaling BND2,000 on Monday by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) for littering on a public premise.
According to a press release from the department, the company had disposed off scrap wood and metals at a public field located at Kampung Jangsak. The fine was issued in accordance with Chapter 12 (1) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act (Amendment) 2021.
