A company was fined BND2,000 by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) yesterday for spilling wastewater onto public premises during disposal into the centralised sewage system in Kampong Kiulap.
The company was given seven days to settle the fine or face the court. If found guilty, it will be fined between BND2,000 and BND10,000 for the first offence and between BND10,000 and BND30,000 with imprisonment of up to 12 months or both for subsequent offences. – Daniel Lim
