The Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) received a donation of BND856 from Dynamik Technologies Sdn Bhd yesterday for its Sungkai Ramadhan project.
Dynamik Technologies Corporate Marketing and Communications Lead Mohamad Faizul Yahya handed over the cheque to MKM President Mohd Yusof bin Shaik Abdul Halim witnessed by MKM Vice President 2 Laini Abdul Majid.
MKM will be distributing iftar food to the underprivileged in Brunei as well as Rohingya refugees and the unfortunate in Bangladesh.
Distributions will be made to around 1,000 people in Brunei for 15 days of Ramadhan and to 1,000 recipients in Bangladesh throughout the month.
MKM’s members and volunteers will distribute food in Brunei while students and teachers of MKM School at Unchiprang Refugee Camp, Cox Bazar will hand out food in Bangladesh.
The charitable distributions in Brunei and Bangladesh have been made since 2015.
