Three companies were recently fined for leaving rubbish in public areas at project sites, said the Tutong District Office.
One company was issued a BND500 fine while two others were slapped with BND1,000 fines.
The district office reminded the public, particularly companies and owners of commercial premises to maintain cleanliness of their surroundings and to not dispose of rubbish in public areas. – James Kon
