Standard Chartered Bank Brunei’s Recreation Club (SCBRC) teamed up with Beach Bunch Brunei to host a beach clean-up at Jerudong Beach recently.
The event aimed to raise environmental awareness and community involvement, with 20 participants collecting about 500 kilogrammes of trash to beautify Brunei’s beaches and keep them clean. Aligned with Standard Chartered’s values of sustainability and social responsibility, staff invited guests to join in making a positive impact.
The initiative helped to conserve Brunei’s coastline, emphasising the importance of beach cleanliness and protection.
SCBRC Chairperson Dayangku Sri Zarith Zarina praised the effort, stating it was a great way to work together for nature.
