Community engagement marks 2nd year anniversary

Telco provider imagine Sdn Bhd celebrated its second year anniversary with a thanksgiving ceremony and a community engagement event yesterday.

The company held a Doa Selamat and Tahil ceremony at Kampong Sungai Pandan Mosque in Kampong Ayer. The ceremony included the mass Asar prayer.

Member of the imagine board of directors Ahmad Fathi bin Dato Paduka Haji Junaidi, Vice President of Business Enterprise, Mazlan bin Mohidin alongside imagine’s senior management as well as staff were present.

In keeping with Brunei’s current Endemic Phase protocol that limits the number of gathering attendees, the company also invited staff to take part in the event virtually through connectivity powered by imagine’s Wish Postpaid mobile services. To support the 120-capacity mosque, Ahmad Fathi presented wakaf received by Imam Bahrom bin Pengarah Haji Abdullah Sunny.

Meanwhile, with the support from local non-government organisation, Projek Infaq, imagine also distributed over 150 packed meals, some prepared by local villagers, to children, congregants, the differently-abled and the elderly in the vicinity of Kampong Sungai Pandan.

The engagement provided imagine with the opportunity to better understand the needs of those living within Kampong Ayer while forging closer relationships between the company and the local community.

On January 27, imagine will host a blood donation drive with the Brunei Darussalam National Blood bank on the first floor of Airport Mall in Berakas from 10.30am to 3pm. While walk-ins are welcome, slot bookings are also available through the BloodKad mobile app which can be downloaded for Android and iOS users.

Blood donors will receive either free merchandise, free sim cards, free mobile port-ins, free top-ups for broadband and mobile services on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last.
