College hosts Chinese, South Korean visiting students

Laksamana College of Business (LCB) recently welcomed 50 students from Guangxi University of Finance and Economics who are in the country for a study tour.

From January 15-24, the students will be introduced to the culture, customs, language, traditional games and cuisine of Brunei, while attending classes that cover the e-commerce development in Brunei, including latest trends and progress, debates and discussions facilitated by LCB lecturers, and digital marketing.

Earlier, the college also welcomed 10 students from South Korea, aged between 10 and 12, who were in the country for a study camp to break away from traditional learning boundaries.

Organised in collaboration with external organisations in South Korea, the programme featured learning sessions on hospitality, computer science, culinary arts and English proficiency.

Meanwhile, LCB will hold an open day from February 17-19, from 11am to 8pm. – Adib Noor
