College holds Mental Awareness Day

Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) organised a three-day Mental Awareness Day recently.

The first day, organised by the college’s Co-Curricular Activities Section, featured an Amazing Race-style competition and briefing by Health, Safety and Environment Unit.

The students also joined activities planned by college counsellor Hajah Siti Azizah binti Haji Wahsalfelah.

The second day was organised by the Counselling Section while the third day was prepared by the Health, Safety and Environment Unit, headed by Armacester binti Haji Arsad. The event, aimed at extending moral support to students facing mental health issues and encouraging them to seek help and guidance, was monitored by 45 peer counsellors guided by Hajah Siti Azizah.

The event saw exhibitions, activities and presentations by speakers from the School Leaders and Teaching Staff Welfare Unit at the Ministry of Education.

The speakers were Ahmad Faisal bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Muhammad Azizul Amin bin Haji Bakar and Hanisah Majidah binti Haji Ahmadiah.

Principal Hajah Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad was the guest of honour at the event. – Azlan Othman
