A viral video of a truck that fell into a sinkhole has been making rounds on social media.
According to the Public Works Department (JKR), the incident happened along the Muara-Tutong Highway on March 7 when contractors were doing layering works along the road stretch.
While working, a crack formed which resulted in the truck falling into the sinkhole.
Investigation found that the under layer was hollow due to an old culvert structure.
The affected road is temporarily closed to all road users as the department is conducting immediate repair works to replace the old culvert.
