Collaborative step towards better education

Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and SynergenOG (B) Sdn Bhd signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), marking the commencement of a strategic collaboration between the university and industry.

The event was held virtually, through Zoom.

UTB Vice-Chancellor Datin Paduka Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman and SynergenOG co-founder and principal Puvan Balasubramaniam delivered their remarks. The event proceeded with the signing of the MoU, with the UTB Vice-Chancellor representing the university and the co-founder and principal of SynergenOG signing on behalf of the industry.

The signing of the MoU solidified the mutual commitment to collaborate in the spheres of academic excellence, research and training programmes.

The partnership marks a significant step towards a better education and collaboration between academics and industries in the Sultanate.

UTB and SynergenOG in a statement yesterday said they are committed to improving education, research and training with the anticipated outcomes contributing to local growth as well as the landscape of global knowledge and innovation.
