A worker at public garbage dumping site in Kampong Telisai, Tutong District was handed a certificate of appreciation for keeping the public disposal area clean.
The certificate was presented to Syarikat Noracon Sdn Bhd employee Amdadul Haque by Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri in a brief ceremony held at the site.
Also present were members of Kampong Telisai Village Consultative Council. A similar certificate of appreciation was also presented to YHH Development representative Yeo Boon Kiat.
The award serves as government recognition through the Tutong District Office to corporate bodies or individuals who are committed to upholding cleanliness to the surrounding environment.
The commitment shown by Amdadul Haque and YHH Development is hoped to inspires others to uphold cleanliness, especially at garbage dumping sites provided by the government and commercial building managers in the country.
