The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) organised a cemetery cleaning campaign, in collaboration with Village Consultative Council (MPK) of Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ and ‘B’ and members of Independent Bimmer Brunei and Brunei Alhpard Vellfire Enthusiasts. The campaign was held at Jelutong Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Jerudong yesterday.
The Deputy Medical Director of JPMC Dr Muhammad Hiza Wardy bin Haji Abdul Halim, the guest of honour, participated in the campaign with over 50 employees.
The activity began with a cleaning activity at the cemetery grounds followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil led by Human Resources Executive of JPMC Muhammad Amin bin Haji Mahari. The cleaning campaign was conducted as part of its 25th year anniversary (silver jubilee) Ramadhan corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The activity was conducted as one of JPMC’s charitable initiatives, aiming to cultivate a sense of service and teamwork among employees as well as a passion for giving back to society and planning more activities in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan, according to a press release.
