China Day set to return on December 16

An array of activities and 25 booths showcasing products from China and local One Village One Product (1K1P) will be featured at the second China Day event at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas from December 16-18.

The China Day 2022 will be held in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival (2022), highlighting the special friendship between Brunei Darussalam and China.

Throughout the three-day event,there will be vendors selling authentic Chinese food and beverages, fun activities and traditional Chinese performances such as a traditional Chinese tea brewing demonstration, wushu and musical performances.

Visitors can also enjoy activities such as the learning to make mooncakes, dumplings and tangyuan.

There will be also be photo exhibition to showcase visual artworks by both Chinese and Bruneian photographers to promote special relationship.

China Day 2022 is organised by the One Belt One Road Association. It is co-organised by the Chinese Enterprises Association in the Sultanate and supported by Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam and Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and Brunei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event is open to the public from 9am to 9pm, except on December 16 where the event will be closed from noon to 2pm for Friday prayers.
