The Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) ‘Hope in Motion’ charity obstacle run is set to take place on August 27 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital.

YASKA yesterday received a boost during a signing ceremony with sponsors of the run.

Representing the event organiser was YASKA Vice Chairperson Tsara’ Nawwarah Abdullah Chen and representing D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd was its Operations Manager Ngu Tiing Siang.

Meanwhile, NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd signed on as the Dream Maker Package sponsor while Progresif Sdn Bhd with Gleneagles JPMC Sdn Bhd signed on as Starlight Package sponsor.

With the tagline, “Action Creates Change”, YASKA Hope in Motion aims to positively influence children with cancer and build a community for families affected by childhood cancer.

YASKA invites the public to run for a good cause and make a difference by promoting positivity.

The public has the option of joining one of the three categories – Hope Bringer (five kilometre), Change Champion 2.5km and Courage Crew.

The Courage Crew will be the support squad and cheer for those running.

Registrations have been extended to August 15, said the organiser.
