Some 120 participants joined the inaugural charity run ‘Run with Cadets’ organised by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali Military Cadet Team in collaboration with Velosir Enterprise at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien last weekend.
The charity run aimed to collect funds for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023 besides strengthening friendship between military cadet members and fostering sportsmanship and cooperation which is the core of military cadet training.
It involved members from the army cadet team from five higher education institutions in the country.
Acting Commanding Officer of Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment Major (U) Pengiran Mohammad Azizul bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Yussof; coaches; supervising teachers and alumni of the army cadet attended the charity run. – Fadhil Yunus
