A celebration was held at Tara Angkor Hotel on Wednesday to mark the installation of 1,000th water wells in Siem Reap province, Cambodia.
The project was initiated by the Brunei Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) in collaboration with the Cambodia Angkor Well Project Foundation since 15 years ago.
LLCS vice chairman Lim Sam Lee presented a certificate of appreciation and an LLCS medal to Cambodia Angkor Well Project Foundation founder Ouk Sophal in the presence of LLCS Secretary General Peng Eng Lee.
Over 2,000 families from across 20 villages in Siem Reap have benefited from
the project.
