GoMamam recently donated items to selected underprivileged families ahead of the Hari Raya festivities. The items donated included beds, refrigerators and daily necessities, accumulated during the holy month of Ramadhan as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility in contributing to the community.
GoMamam employees contributed by gathering and distributing the donated items, in hopes to celebrate the company’s shared sense of charity.
Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of GoMamam Hadi Adanan said “We are thrilled and honoured to initiate this charity drive to support the underprivileged people of Brunei Darussalam. This initiative is to support our Bruneians in need during challenging times, especially with the rising costs of living.
“Ramadhan teaches us humility and compassion, thus sharing what we have with those in need is not only a practice to all of us but also to create awareness in saving and sharing.”
The donation drive on Monday was joined by the management and staff of GoMamam to several different underprivileged families in the Brunei-Muara District.
