Charity Corner provides platform to fulfil social responsibilities

The Welfare and Community Unit (UKKBM), Student Representative Council (MPP), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) launched the ‘Almari Infaq’ or Charity Corner, on Wednesday at the UNISSA Residential College.

The programme aimed to provide a platform for UNISSA citizen to donate items such as basic food and necessities to UNISSA Residential College, students and to fulfil its social responsibilities. ‘Almari Infaq’ has so far received contributions from the UNISSA Ta’awun Fund, which is another platform to look after the welfare of UNISSA students.

Assistant Rector (Student Affairs and Alumni) and Chairperson of the UNISSA Ta’awun Fund Committee Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu officiated the programme.

UNISSA Ta’awun Fund committee members, MPP members and Welfare and Community Unit, MPP 2021/2022 members also participated.
