As part of Kampong Lambak Youth Association PERBEKAL yearly events leading up to the fasting month of Ramadhan, the organisation ran a charity initiative to distribute basic necessities and cash to the less fortunate.
PERBEKAL President Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud who was also the event’s guest of honour, ran the event at his residence in Kampong Lambak in Berakas last Sunday.
Also present at the event were the programme’s executive committee members; permanent chairman Pengiran Jofri bin Pengiran Haji Zaidi, vice president Pengiran Mahari bin Pengiran Haji Md Tahir and vice president I Siti Seriana binti Haji Md Yusof.
The first part of the initiative, dubbed ‘Ziarah Kasih PERBEKAL,’ handed food and cash to five Asnaf families.
The contributions served to ease the Asnaf families’ burden during the fasting month and allow them to perform their fasting obligations comfortably.
