    Charitable act fosters stronger bonds

    The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a handover ceremony for the Titian Amal Project in conjunction with the RBAF’s 63rd anniversary at the residence of Lance Corporal (Rtd) Japar bin Duraman in Kampong Gatas, Mukim Labi in the Belait District.

    Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan was the guest of honour.

    The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Tazkirah by Acting Director of the Religious Directorate Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, followed by a progress report on the project’s implementation from August 19, 2024 to April 18 by Chairman of Community of the RBAF’s 63rd anniversary Captain Haji Norbahrin bin Haji Muamad, Royal Brunei Navy.

    This was followed by the presentation of a commemorative plaque and contribution from the RBAF Welfare Fund by the Commander of the RBAF to Lance Corporal (Rtd) Japar, which symbolised the completion of the project. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.

    Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, the acting Belait District officer, the acting commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), services deputy commanders, military and civilian directors of the Ministry of Defence, senior RBAF officers, the acting head of Kampong Labi I and members of the RBAF Veterans Association were also present.
