I remember a few years ago, there was a massive campaign to encourage the public to switch to electric vehicles (EVs). Then last year, a charging station for EVs was launched at a petrol station. It seemed like the country was moving towards a greener future, which was a good sign, especially amid climate change.
The only problem is that the charging station hasn’t and doesn’t work. Some people say it’s due to some grid issue, which has yet been resolved, while others wonder if the EV hype has merely fizzled out.
Sure, one can opt to charge the EV at home, which is more convenient than visiting a charging station. Still, it would be good to have at least a few charging stations across the country to show our seriousness in the green drive.
