Advertisements for vacant public service positions that close after April 1 will be taken over by the Recruitment Secretariat in the ministries that hold the vacancies, said the Public Service Commission Office on changes in the public service recruitment process.
The change is one of the integrated efforts of the Public Service Commission to ensure that the process of filling vacancies runs smoothly and orderly while fulfilling the needs of ministries.
Applications for vacant positions still go through the Public Service Commission Recruitment 2.0 (PSCR 2.0) portal, and advertisements can be viewed on the portal, through PSC.BN social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Telegram Channel) and in the Pelita Brunei newspaper every Saturday.
Jobseekers and applicants from civil service members are advised to update the PSCR 2.0 profile completely, correctly and properly by uploading required documents before applying.
For any questions related to the application for vacant positions, applicants can directly contact the ministries through the ‘Aduan Saya’ module on the PSCR 2.0 portal by selecting the job title (applied position) to ensure questions or complaints are channelled to the right ministry especially for the process certification, test and interview. – Azlan Othman
