Haneeyah Dueramae of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) won the singles category of the Chancellor’s Cup Table Tennis Competition at UNISSA’s gymnasium hall recently.
Nurul Fitri Sofia binti Haji Rosli from Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Aina Nasuha binti Haji Masri from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) took the second and third spots.
In the doubles category, UTB team comprising Nurul Khairina binti Kamal and Izzati binti Haji Sahrin were crowned champions, followed by Nur Rifqah Ramizah binti Haji Roslan and Dayangku Nurul Amal Addina Syamsina Athirah binti Pengiran Hj Noorezamy from UNISSA.
UBD’s Dayangku Nor Hidayati binti Pengiran Saidi and Nurlia Putri Ernawati binti Budiana won the third place.
The tournament saw participation from four higher learning institutions, including UBD, UNISSA, UTB and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB).
