Outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Yu Hong visited the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) to personally bid farewell to the Chinese business association yesterday.
Chinese Chamber of Commerce BSB President Malcolm Lim and executive committee members of the association received the ambassador.
Lim said, “I would like to thank the ambassador for assisting and supporting the association within her four-year tenure, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to the Chinese government for the support to the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam as well as for donating books to schools.”
